i don't wanna get very emotional with this news post. but all hopes of recovering this laptop is possibly gone. this laptop has brought me places; it's probably its time to rest.

but anyway, good evening.

i may have gotten a bit too emotional. but there is some hope left though.

currently writing this on my laptop. everything seems to work fine, at least working significantly faster than it did last night.

atm i'm uninstalling some useless apps and making sure that situation doesn't happen again.

flash is still not installed; I have yet to find out what is happening with the installer.

but for the most part, my laptop should be doing fine.

@NanoSoft has told me to hold on to the FLAs [since it] does feel like a bleak situation right now, but having the files still on a flash drive or OneDrive or something could help because if [I] do get a compatible PC later on, [I'll] have the files to work with.

i was gonna do that. and now File Explorer keeps on not responding every single time I try to do it.

Discord's app updater will not respond. Same goes with Audacity when starting up. I have yet to find out a way to fix this, but I don't have much time.

I'm currently typing this news post in Safe Mode (with networking) because I thought it might work at least a bit faster with only the core drivers and stuff, plus network support. Turns out it's just the same. Right now as of writing this, Windows Task Manager is stuck in the middle of the screen, making it hareder to write this newspost.

I have no idea what to do now. I have a family that can't spend that much money on stuff, and asking for a new laptop is obviously gonna take ages just so we can have money to buy a new one. to ask for a secondhand laptop is an entirely different discussion.

this might be my last news post ever written on this laptop, which Ihave spent a lot of time on making all these stuff I bring to you all. I don't care if arthur, get ou tof the tank gets only 3 stars; i'm glafd to have shared it with all of you.

So. What's up with this video, you ask, that makes it the subject of this news post?

First of all, the Tom-drowning-in-a-watertank-disguised-as-a-painting image is used, but Steve has his arms (and his cane) up and doesn't have his tophat, and the WAH? logo is there.. Also, the video is mainly about a music track, and it looks like an album cover.

You know what this means? If you don't, I'll explain like you're five.

First of all, WAH? now has a theme song!

Wow! So relevant! But who made it? To answer that question, all you have to do is look at the logo in the video.

To clarify, @PresidentRodgers (or GiantsGiants as his profile appears in some other platforms) is the musician I tasked to make the theme. So far, he's made only the theme, but I have yet to find out if he'll agree on making the score for the show.

Second of all, Flash is working again!

 Flash started to make my computer unable to do shit so I had to uninstall it. Stuff will be back in a lot of optimistic weeks, give or take a couple days.

Worry no more, because Flash is working fine now. After a couple of days, I got Flash and my computer to stop crashing.

Now I can get back to work, which means...

Third of all, the "short" is back on progress...

Things are going a little slower than I would've hoped.

First of all, Flash CS5.5 stopped working the other day.

I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and I got Flash to work again just this morning. But it's acting strange, because stuff like the CTRL+N command won't work. Right now, while I'm writing this, Flash will open, but soon after, it'll display an error with the InPageError description. so...

Second of all, progress is as slow as a snail.

There isn't enough people in the team, but a team is useless without something to work on. And that something is the script. I'm the one in charge, and I procrastinate, so...

You know, the one I talked about in one of the news posts I made within this week. I can't hide the surprise any longer, so to keep myself sane, the new short is a recreation of a scene in Count Olaf's trial in The Penultimate Peril (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events) So...

And to keep things interesting, here's a little shot from WAH? where Tom is trapped inside a watertank.

(This scene just popped up in my head... I'm planning to integrate it into an episode soon.)

This picture also serves as evidence that WAH? will have color.

Called the painting "Bloom" after a Radiohead song which, along with Hans Zimmer, got transformed for BBC's Blue Planet II.

I really hope anyone would forgive me if the pilot wouldn't arrive in time, because it's really hard working with a small team with people I barely know.
